Cast Ross McMillan & Bill Kerr

Ross McMillan and Bill Kerr are typecast as five pathetic men in three of Chekhov's sharpest short comedies — The Dangers of Tobacco, A Reluctant Tragic Hero, and Swan Song.

Anton Chekhov (1860–1904) was a Russian physician, short story writer, and playwright who revolutionized theatre in two ways. First, he ditched most of the plot and left his characters to slowly stew in their everyday lives. Second, he saw the actor in everyone and turned out characters who are capable of great fraudulence and truth, almost in the same moment, sometimes mistaking one for the other.
